DXPS foam is a new surfboard core material, it is a kind of XPS foam. It has many excellent physical properties, main characteristic as follows:
1) No delamination, closed cell, completely consistent density.
2) More durable, lighter, flexible than PU or EPS foam.
3) It is a recyclable and more environment friendly material.
4) No water absorption if dinged, absorbs less resin.
5) More high strength-to-weight ratio than traditional PU or EPS foam, the shortboards need not fiberglass. The funboards just need 1x6oz or 1x4oz fiberglass on the top and bottom. It will greatly reduced the weight of surfboard.
